We went out to eat last night. Only to a nice pub - nothing too fancy.
I had the vegetarian fish and chips. It's made with halloumi cheese, fried in batter. It's a long time (at least 35 years) since I ate fish, but I think this replicates it quite well.
The dish gets a bit of a mixed press, but I like it. It is, however, about a million calories, so a treat once in a blue moon.
Mmmm that looks lovely, never tasted halloumi cheese, must put that on my list of new tastes.
